About The Lighthouse Campaign
The Lighthouse Campaign was created from a belief that every child deserves to be heard, understood, and supported, especially those growing up in care.
Children in care often have so many decisions made for them, yet very few spaces where they can safely express how they feel, what they need, or what they’re struggling with. The Lighthouse Campaign exists to help change that. We create trauma-informed resources that give children the opportunity to reflect, express and be understood in their own time and in their own way.
Alongside this, we recognise the incredible emotional weight carried by the adults who care for them. Residential staff show up every day to support young people through complex experiences, often under intense pressure. Our work also aims to support staff wellbeing, reflection, and emotional weight, because when staff feel supported, children feel safer.
The Lighthouse Campaign exists to bring light where things can feel heavy, to give children a voice where one is often lost, and to support the people who hold that care every day.
